BREED/FAMILY~
Breed: Russian blue X Calico mix.
Looks: Pale 'blue' pelt with teal eyes and a white tail tip, gorgeous short and smooth fur, pale spots that appear to have a paint like appearance.
Mother: Flamestep; Spottedstar's sister.
Father: Derik; A loner tom.
Siblings: Lynx; died on the way to Rushclan.

NAME~
She was given her name because of her bright teal eyes. Spottedstar decided that would fit her best.
Her past name was Alex, her father Derik gave her that name... Eventhough Flamestep wanted her to have a clan name, she was originally supposed to be named DuckKit, for her duck like water repellent fur, and her teal gaze; the same color teal that is on the wing of a Green Winged teal. (A kind of duck.)
BACKSTORY~
KIT MOONS
Flamestep, her mother left her clan during a night hunt in the clan of Duskclan. She ventured deep into the forest, to meet a young tom named Derik on a mission to find a place to settle down. The young tom invited Flame to come with him on his quest, which Flame gladly excepted. They ventured until they found a barn. They stayed there until the age of 22 moons. That gave them enough time to get to know each other, and giving them time to fall in love..
Before Flame knew it she was carrying Derik's kits.
She kitted 2 kits. Lynx and Alex, whom Derik named. Flame was upset with his names, for she wanted to have them named clan names. Thus, DuckKit and Yarrowkit. Though, Derik didn;t listen. Derik was full of himself and aggressive, and after the kits were born he left Flame for most of the day and didn't come back 'till dusk every night. This outraged Flame. So one day she followed him, leaving the kits alone in the shelter and safety of the barn while she followed after him, only to see he had been with another she-cat the whole time, Red. Flame was heart broken and returned to the barn, eating all of the prey that Derik had caught and taking the kits to the one place she knew they would be safe, Rushclan.
The one way to get to Rushclan was too cross a perilous Thunder path. Flamestep knew this path well and carried Alex across, leaving Lynx on the other side where she believed she would be safe. She was wrong. Lynx stood and trotted across, for she was 5 moons. But she didn't know any better. The kit saw an up coming monster and attempted to run, but it was too late. The monster's wheels crushed her skull and destroyed her body. Flamestep cleared her from the Thunderpath and continued on, her heart shattered.
When she finally reached Rushclan, Spottedstar gladly tookin Alex and renamed her Tealpaw, for she had beautiful teal eyes. Spottedstar begged Flamestep to stay. But Flamestep refused, she said she had a lesson to teach Derik. And she left. Never to be seen again.
APPRENTICE MOONS
Tealpaw trained hard to be the best warrior she could be. Spottedstar gladly took her in as her apprentice, so she was trained by the best.
WARRIOR MOONS
Tealpaw was renamed Tealwing and trained an apprentice named Dovepaw. Dovepaw was a fine apprentice and lived on to be a queen. She died during her 3 kitting.
Before you knew it Tealwing had become deputy, and eventually leader; Tealstar.
